this bustling capital city of Karnataka, has a perpetual

| The Bull Temple |
|
One of the oldest temples
in the city, built by Kempe Gowda -- the founder of Bangalore.
This temple is dedicated to Nandi, the sacred bull.

A magnificent, 4 storeyed building housing
the state legislative assembly and the secretariat. The salient
feature of the building is it's architectural combination
of ancient and modern styles blended into harmony. The building
is illuminated on Sunday evenings.

One of his summer retreats, built in 1791,
this is a two-storeyed ornate wooden stucture with pillars,
arches and balconies.

plants.

|
In the city of gardens, Bangalore, the
Cubbon is a beautiful park, sprawling across 300 acres. It
was laid in 1864 by Lord Cubbon.

is the State High court. This magnificent building was constructed

Art Gallery |

One of the country's oldest art museums
this gallery houses many interesting antiques and archeological
objects. The gallery is closed on Wednesday.

This houses the State Central Library.
This place has a rich collection of reference books. Works
between 0830 and 1900 all through the week except on Mondays.

| Iskcon Temple |
|
The ISKCON provides much more for the soul,
than those rituals. ISKCON are centers of spiritual learning
through Godly association. Centers where a visitor is inspired
to learn more about Spiritual life. There is a magnificent
main temple hall which houses the altars of Their Lordships
Sri Radha Krishna-Chandra, Sri Krishna Balarama & Sri
Nitai Gouranga. Also one can see the Golden Chandelier that
is shaped a inverted Lotus Flower.

| Nandi Hills |

Nandi Hills, 60 km north of Bangalore,
is a small hill-station. It was one of the retreats of the
tiger of Mysore. Tipu's Drop, a 600 mt high cliff-face, offers
a magnificent view.
