Delhi, the capital of this wonderful land, is a maze of different landmarks, monuments and forts that reveal the colorful history of India. It's a city that speaks volumes about India's culture and it's Unity in Diversity. Delhi is perhaps the only capital city in the world that has people from different religions and cultures living together and yet maintaining their identity.
 

Also known as the moonlit square, Chandni Chowk, is located in the the main street of Old Delhi. It is the largest bazar in Northern India.

 
Just 2 kms to the south of Purana Qila lies the Humayun's Tomb. It was raised by his widow Haji Begum in the 16th century.
 
Located on the Hari Krishna Hill, the ISKCON Temple is situated on the east of Kailash. The temple has beautiful paintings of Radha, Krishan and several other Gods and Goddesses.
Chattarpur Mandir is an old temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. The beautiful temple complex is situated in Mehraulli.
India Gate, originally named All India War Memoria, was designed by Lutyens in honour the brave soldiers who died for the nation.
This is a huge sun dial. The instruments at Jantar Mantar are fascinating for their novel approach.
 
Jumma Masjid or Friday Mozque, built by Shah Jahan, is the largest mosque in India.
 
Lotus Temple is the result of the Bahai faith. Built in the shape of lotus flower, this temple can be seen from several points in South Delhi.
 
The seat of the Indian legislative power, this marvellous piece of architecture can be admired only from outside.
 
The lawns filled with roses, is the place where the President hosts tea parties, in the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
 
C.P or Connaught Place was built in a circular format. It is the most popular shopping centre in Delhi.
 
The venue of the annual India International Trade Fair where thousands of businessmen and visitors come from all over the world.
 
Raj Ghat, the last resting place of the "Father of Nation".
 
Built by the Maharaja of Jaipur, the National Gallery is located in the Jaipur House near India Gate. It has around 4,000 paintings of modern artists, including graphics and sculptures. It has a huge collection of art and literature and journal on art and culture and painting of Indian and Colonial artists. It also houses a library which can be used by museum.
 
Located along the Baba Khadag Singh Marg, Bangla Sahib is the biggest gurudwara in Delhi.
Set amidst a sprawling park, this museum is a must see, not just for train buffs but for everyone.
 
Dilli Haat, located opposite the INA Market is the result of the combined effort of the New Delhi Municipal Council and the Tourism Dept. to create opportunities to rural artisans.
